The Mosaic Studio, based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, was commissioned to design a mosaic to be on permanent display in the school’s reception area as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations on its current site.

The mosaic, unveiled yesterday (Tuesday), features St Luke and the school’s new values, which were chosen by parents and staff: kindness, honesty, integrity, perseverance, confidence and empathy.

All pupils took part in workshops over two days to help create the mosaic.
