Our guide to the TTP Cambridge Half Marathon 2025 including timings, course map, travel and road closures
The 14th TTP Cambridge Half Marathon takes place this Sunday (9 March).
The race will start at 9.30am, from Midsummer Common, Cambridge, and there will be thousands of athletes aiming to achieve personal bests.
Those taking part can count on plenty of drinks stations, music hotspots and cheering points on the course, not to mention the supportive crowds.
At the event site on Midsummer Common, participants will find the bag storage, bike park, water refill points, toilets and catering units.
There is no parking on site and athletes are encouraged to walk, cycle or use the special event Park & Ride service.
Participants are asked to arrive on site at least one hour prior to their advised start time. The last Park & Ride buses will depart from Longstanton and St Ives at 8am, with buses from the remaining five sites leaving at approximately 8.30am.
The fundraising target for this years event is £1million. Alzheimer’s Research UK is the headline charity partner, and other charity partners include Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, Kidney Care UK, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, RSPCA, and Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT).
As well as being a charity partner, ACT is offering people a chance to win a free place running for the charity in the 2026 TTP Cambridge Half Marathon.
The only thing people need to do is come along to the ACT marquee on Sunday and sign up for the charity’s newsletter for a chance to win.
