Hundreds attended the bustling Cambourne Community Fete, enjoying a host of entertainment from live music to a dog show.

There were plenty of rides and stalls for children to enjoy and community groups were well-represented, including the RAF Air Cadets and Army Cadet Force.

Cromwell Vets, in Huntingdon, organised the dog show, with best in show going to Dodger the border collie. The vets raised money for StreetVet, which supports homeless pet owners.

Meanwhile, Light Up Cambourne, which organises the festive lights, raised some money with its stall at the fete, which took place on Saturday, September 8.

Parish clerk John Vickery said: “The fete was a well-supported event. Money was raised for Light Up Cambourne, 1st Cambourne Scouts and Cambourne Fireworks. We would like to thank the volunteers and sponsors Taylor Wimpey and Doubletree by Hilton that made the event so successful.”
