Community liaison coordinator Christine Shaw presented the cheque to Ruth Marley at Re:Imagine, located at the back of the Witchford Recycling Centre, on Wednesday, October 9, to support a project to build a community kitchen.

Re:Imagine currently collects business waste from companies, including John Lewis & Partners, which Ruth then repurposes for schools and care homes.

Christine said: “I was thrilled when the John Lewis Foundation agreed to support this project.

"I’ve worked with Ruth for a few years now and I know the immense value of what she does, and I know that she has the energy and drive to make this project succeed.”
