Repairs to be carried out on Cambridgeshire Guided Busway

Essential maintenance work will be taking place on the Guided Busway between Swawesey and Longstanton over the next two weekends.

This section of the busway and maintenance track will be closed for repair work from 11.59pm this Friday (August 23) until 5am on Monday, August 26 - and again from 11.59pm on Friday, August 30 to 5am on Monday, September 2.

All services will be running as normal and a diversion will be in place for buses and cyclists.

During the closure, both stops at Swavesey will be closed and alternative stops will be provided on Over road.

The diversion route for cyclists and pedestrians is via Ramper Road, Swavesey through to the B1050 at Longstanton or into Over via New Road and Longstanton Road.

Cambridgeshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while these necessary repairs are carried out.
