Runners help set a new record for charities

A record number of participants in the 10th Grantchester Charity Runs led to a record donation to its designated charities, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) and Maggie’s Centre, Cambridge.
Justin Fairhall and Christie Marrian, two of the organisers of the event, which took place on Sunday, September 29, handed over £1,780 to each charity at Addenbrooke’s on Monday (November 4).
The total was topped up by contributions from supporters Jo Anthony Photography and Sports Corrective Therapy.
The 2020 Grantchester Charity Runs will take place on Sunday, September 27.
