Greater Cambridge Shared Waste said one round could not be carried out, which affected properties in Trumpington, Market and Petersfield wards.

The service advised residents: “We will return to empty these so if your green bin was not emptied, please leave it out and it will be emptied by Saturday (July 23) afternoon.

“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
