'Splash of colour' Vegan Vice Club to open at Ta Bouche
A colourful new vegan culinary experience is opening this month at Ta Bouche in Market Passage.
Vegan Vice Club is run by Tommy Dexter and his cousin Connor Deeks.
“We’re trying to revamp and make the place look paradisical, add a splash of colour, so it’s a place students will want to go,” says Tommy. “We’re trying to make it super-casual and we’re not pricing some vegans out which some places do.”
The partnership with Ta Bouche will mean “our amazing vegan food and their amazing cocktails – they’re changing to a more vibrant, colourful theme, so that should work with our Vegan Vice Club sort of thing”.
There will also be some vegan cocktails on the Ta Bouche menu.
The food is original of course, and includes a patented own-brand Seitan-based TenderCrop chicken.
TenderCrop is a “wheat and chick pea-based protein manipulated in such a way it’s 80 per cent protein, it has a very chicken-like texture”.
Vegan Vice brand is “a fully vegan company”. More details available on Instagram @Vegan_Vice_Club.
