Teen dies after hit by train near Cherry Hinton
A 17-year-old girl has died after she was hit by a train.
British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the railway line near Cherry Hinton around 7.40pm on Saturday, January 26.
The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and the girl's next of kin have been informed.
A spokeswoman for British Transport Police (BTP), said: "Officers attended alongside paramedics however a 17-year-old female sadly died at the scene.
"The incident is currently being treated as non-suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
