Traffic queuing on the A14 this morning

Traffic is queuing on the A14 this morning due to a broken down crane blocking the road.

At junction 32 the eastbound exit slip road at Histon had to be closed due to the crane breaking down there stuck there.

Highways police have been sent to deal with the incident while drivers had to continue to junction 33 then come back on themselves and exit on the westbound carriageway.

But the Highways Agency has just announced that the obstruction has been cleared and so traffic will be starting to move again.
