Trains cancelled between Cambridge and Norwich via Ely
All lines are blocked after a vehicle damaged a bridge between Attleborough and Thetford.
Train services between Cambridge and Norwich are severely disrupted due to a vehicle striking a railway bridge.
Engineers are reportedly on site but services are expected to be disrupted untill 11am. Greater Anglia says debris from the incident has landed on the railway line and they are unable to run trains until the line has been examined and is deemed safe.
At present all train services between Cambridge and Norwich are suspended until further notice.
A Rail Replacement Bus service is being operated by Freestones, Discovery and Eclipse, this will run between Norwich and Ely.
Passengers from Ely to/from Cambridge are advised to travel on Cross Country services and Great Northern services. Please allow extra time for your journey.
Passengers at Norwich travelling to Cambridge may also travel via the mainline to Stowmarket for a local train service to Cambridge.
Passengers at Cambridge travelling to Norwich may travel on the Cambridge to Ipswich service and change at Stowmarket for a mainline service to Norwich. Please allow extra time for you journey.
