Tributes to A1303 crash victim Emma King




A tribute has been released to a loving mother who “did everything should could to help anyone”.

Emma King, 37, of Glanville Road, Trumpington, died following a crash on the A1303 towards Cambridge.

Her family said in a statement today (Monday, March 23): “Emma was an amazing loving mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend who will be dearly missed.

“She did everything she could to help anyone and never failed to make you laugh and put a smile on your face. She was such a loving caring person and was sadly taken from us way too soon.

“Emma will remain in our hearts. We will always love and miss her.”

A blue Ford Focus LX was travelling on the A1303 towards Cambridge when it was involved in a collision with two other vehicles, left the road and careered into undergrowth at about 8pm on Saturday, March 14.

Emergency services attended, but Emma was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person travelling in the vehicle received minor injuries.

The occupants of the other two vehicles, an Audi A6 and a Suzuki Alto, were not injured.
