ItsSo Travel, which was the runner-up of the ‘Grow at the Grafton’ initiative, invited the designer and television presenter to cut the ribbon.

Alongside the star for the opening were Paul and Claire Welling, the owners of the business, an independent agency which also operates from St Ives.

The Wellings have taken a 12-month lease at the shopping centre.

John O’Shea, centre manager at The Grafton, said: “The fit-out of ItsSo Travel’s new space is spectacular and eye-catching and we firmly believe that Paul and Claire will make a big impact.

“We’re also delighted to have welcomed Laurence Llewelyn Bowen to the shopping centre for what was a very special and memorable day for everyone connected with ItsSo Travel.”
