Fire crews deal with Trumpington flat blaze

Two fire crews from Cambridge, the south roaming fire engine and the multistar aerial appliance, were called to a flat fire on Forbes Close, Trumpington Ward on August 22 at 10.27 am.
The crew arrived to find a fire on the balcony of a third floor flat. Firefighters used one hose reel, one jet and small gear to extinguish the fire, before dampening down the area.
All persons were accounted for and crews returned to their stations by 11.45am. The cause of the fire was accidental.
