Vegan eatery to serve up second location in Cambridge city centre
Vegan eatery Stem + Glory has announced plans to take over 13 King Street in Cambridge.
The site is currently occupied by the Afternoon Tease caf', which will close in the next few weeks.
Louise Palmer-Masterton, of Stem + Glory, said: 'We love what Jo has done at Afternoon Tease over the past four years, and we will be continuing all the brilliant things she has done so well. And then of course we will be bringing our legendary fast service eat-in and takeaway lunch to King Street.'
Afternoon Tease staff will be staying on at Stem + Glory 2, and chef Gemma Doherty will head the kitchen team. It will be open 8am to 6pm.
Louise continued: 'You won't see much of a change to the look at 13 King Street, we will be preserving the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, we will just be giving it a spruce up and of course you can expect to see vegetables outside on the pillars. Yes, we will be vegetablising King Street.
'We are super excited and looking forward to being on King Street ' a thriving community and one of the coolest streets in Cambridge.'
