Volunteers needed for annual Cambridge Half Marathon

Volunteers are being sought to help at the 2018 Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon.
Held on Sunday, March 4, the event organised by OSB Events is in its seventh year.
The half marathon began in 2012 with 3,000 competitors. In 2016 the course was revised to include a single loop, which meant it was able to grow to 7,000 competitors. The event in 2018 is set to be the biggest and best yet with 9,000 entries available.
Researchers at Anglia Ruskin University found last year’s half-marathon boosted the Cambridge economy by £226,000.
As it has in previous years, the start and finish of the event will take place on Midsummer Common.
