Warm weekend in Cambridge could be last of the summer sun

Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 24 degrees this weekend as what could be the last of the summer sun is expected to shine down on the city.

A gradual decline in temperatures thereafter may mean that these could well be the final days of summer 2019.

Temperatures in the region have noticeably decreased since the scorching August bank holiday.

But 22 degrees on Saturday and 24 degrees on Sunday might go some way to making up for it.

A drop to 21 degrees on Monday will be followed by gradually declining temperatures.
