Winners of the Cambridge Independent SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards 2021 revealed

The winners of the Cambridge Independent SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards 2021 were revealed this evening (Thursday, February 17).

A black tie awards ceremony was attended by business leaders and organisations across the county at IWM Duxford.

Winners in 20 categories were announced, along with the Cambridge Independent Overall Gold Winner.

The categories rewarded excellence shown by a host of small and medium-sized enterprises and employers, along with individuals.

Iliffe Media chief revenue officer Ricky Allan welcomed guests: “The pandemic brought unprecedented trading conditions for all, with many businesses being forced to close for months on end, furlough staff and diversify quickly in order to survive.

“Despite all the local challenges, our country’s best entrepreneurs modelled gracious professionalism, and inspired, motivated and encouraged their teams to power through and succeed regardless. Our awards tonight recognise those incredible individuals.

“I know that every single one of you in this room tonight strives for excellence – it’s why you are here. These awards acknowledge the hard work and achievements of all our finalists, not just the winners, and we celebrate each and every one of you. In recognition of this, we will once again be announcing Silver and Gold Award winners in all categories and some categories also boast a Bronze Award.

“Just being here tonight is a fantastic achievement, of which you should be proud.”
