Woman arrested following death of motorcyclist in Cambridgeshire
A woman has been arrested following the death of a motorcyclist in a collision on the A142 near Soham,
Police received reports of a collision between a Volvo XC90 and a Kawasaki motorcycle at the junction with Northfields Road at about 9pm on Thursday (April 6).
Officers and paramedics attended but the motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, died at the scene.
A 56-year-old woman, from Soham, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She has been released on bail until May 10.

The man is the second motorcyclist to die on the county’s roads in a fortnight.
Sgt Russell Jones, 36, a Hertfordshire police officer from Royston, died at the scene of a collision with an HGV on the A505 at Fowlmere at about 12.35pm on March 28.
