Yellow weather warning for the East of England
The region is set to be hit by very windy weather and heavy rain tomorrow (Saturday, November 2).
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for strong winds and heavy rain in southern England and south Wales between 4am and 6pm on Saturday.
Gusts of 55-60 mph are likely inland, with gusts of 60-70 mph around and just inland of south and west-facing coasts and over hills.
There is a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris and there could be some damage to trees and buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs.
Journey times by road, rail, air and ferry could be affected and cancellations, delays and road closures may be possible.
Power cuts could also occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
