Yellow weather warning for the region as very strong winds expected

These winds may cause some disruption between 3am and 6pm on Thursday, January 9.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the East of England, highlighting that there is a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris.
Damage to buildings, such as tiles blowing off roofs, could be caused and there is a small chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air and ferry services are affected.
Some roads and bridges could close and there is a small chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
