Your chance to speak to East West Rail Company at in-person events

The East West Rail Company will be hosting a series of in-person events across Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire over the next few weeks.

It says the events will offer individuals, businesses and stakeholders the opportunity to speak with members of the EWR Co team.

The first event will be held at The Clayton Hotel in Cambridge on Wednesday, June 29 from 2pm to 8pm.

It will be followed by events at Haslingfield Village Hall on Tuesday, July 19 between 2pm and 8pm, and then at The Cambridge Belfry in Cambourne on Wednesday, July 20, between the same times.

The EWR Co says it is still in the process of reviewing the feedback received during the second non-statutory consultation and does not have any new information to provide at the moment.

It says the events will give them the chance to hear peoples’ views and update local communities on anticipated next steps on the £5bn plans to build a railway line from Oxford to Cambridge, via Milton Keynes, Bedford and new stations at St Neots South/Tempsford and Cambourne.
