Six returning Light Blues for Twickenham
Six returning Blues have been named in the Cambridge University team to face Oxford at Twickenham on Thursday, December 8.
And a further two Blues will be on the bench as the Light Blues aim to end a run of six successive defeats.
Captain Daniel Dass is one of the returnees, along with Simon Davies, Michael Phillips, Fraser Gillies, Sebastian Tullie and Will Briggs, while Lola Erogbogbo and Richard Bartholomew are among the replacements.
Charlie Amesbury is on a two-month sabbatical from professional rugby with Bristol having started a two-year masters degree in social innovation at the Judge Business School and he will line-up at full-back, with fellow newcomers Rory Triniman and Henry King completing the backs division.
There are six new faces in the forwards, with hooker Andrew Burnett and tight-head prop Jonathan Dixon completing the front row.
Andrew Hunter and Tim Bond are in the second row, while Tom Stanley brings more professional experience, with the flanker having previously played at Hawkes Bay Magpies.
Brian Du Toit completes the starting line-up as Cambridge bid to carry on their recent form, which has seen them win their last four games.
