City of Cambridge Swimming Club members will be out in force at the British and Home Nations Championships in the next month.

Following their success at the county and regional championships, they have a record number of qualifiers.

“This year, we have 23 individuals and seven relay teams qualifying for British and Home Nations competitions,” said head coach James Freezer.

“This is the largest number of qualifiers the club has ever had and backs up an excellent performance at both the county and regional championships earlier this year.

“I’m really proud of the swimmers, coaches and support teams in making this such a successful season for the club.”

Jono Adam, Ollie Cashin, Millie Emmans, Katie Hammond, Zara Keegan, Jake Moxham and Matt Titman have reached the British Summer Championships.

Adam, Ben Arkle, Hugo Bellamy, Imogen Bloomfield, Cashin, Emmans, Oskar Farkas, Polly Fish, Dom Holloway, Hammond, Gracie Kay, Kathryn Loveys, Moxham, Titman and Seb Vandermeer have qualified for the English Summer Nationals.

Keegan will race the Scottish nationals, Almudena Visser Velez goes to the Dutch nationals and Farkas has qualified for the open water finals.
