Cambridge United left-back Harrison Dunk calls for positive reaction to Scunthorpe United loss

Harrison Dunk has urged his Cambridge United team-mates to not dwell on last night's 1-0 home defeat to Scunthorpe United.

Visiting Iron scored with their only shot on target at The Abbey, while in contrast the U's were left frustrated by a string of missed chances and wayward passing in the final third.

The defeat – combined with Cheltenham Town's victory over Southend United – has seen Cambridge drop to second in the League Two table, having previously led the way for a number of weeks.

However, with Walsall at home to come on Saturday (3pm), long-serving Dunk is keen to see a positive response.

"There is still a lot of games to go and I'm sure there will be more results like that come the end of the season," said the left-back.

"It's just who can get the consistency until the end of the season. We've got to play all of the big teams still, there's a long way to go.

"We can't get too down, we are obviously disappointed but we can't dwell on it and we've just got to rebound."
