U's share the goals around

Five different scorers helped Cambridge United have more fun on the road as they won 5-0 at Hartlepool United in Sky Bet League Two.

The goals flowed in the second half, but that was after Luke Berry had a penalty saved.

In the 43rd minute, Toto Nsiala took down the U’s midfielder in the area, however, keeper Trevor Carson produced a good save down to his right to keep out the penalty.

The deadlock was broken in the 51st minute with a fine shot from 15 yards out by James Dunne.

Eleven minutes later, Uche Ikpeazu went on a good run down the right wing and then pulled back a pass for Berry to score from close range.

Four minutes later and it was 3-0, when a deep corner was headed in by Leon Legge.

And Ikpeazu pounced four minutes later, tapping in the fourth.

Max Clark completed the scoring with his first goal for United, cutting inside the area before firing in a deflected shot.

The third successive win in the league moves United up to ninth in the table, and just two points off the play-off places.
