Brampton Park player uses local knowledge for victory
Mo Poole was the winner of Cambs & Hunts Ladies County Golf Association, Veterans’ Championship.
She made use of home knowledge of Brampton Park to take top spot in the Veterans’ Cup with 78.
Clubmate Brenda Davey won the President’s Salver for best nett score with 74. St Neots’ Rosemary Farrow was the winner of the Senior Veterans’ Cup with 87.
Girton’s Sue Hill was first in the Silver Division with nett 75, one clear of Ely City’s Sharron Chatteris.
Brampton Park’s Katie Dixon was the winner of the Bronze A Division with nett 78, three better than St Neots’ Margaret Gates, while Brampton Park’s Liz Olding triumphed in Bronze B with nett 80.
