Impington International College rugby scholars Ben Lucraft and Caleb Reeves represent England and Great Britain
Impington International College has been celebrating two of its students breaking on to the international rugby scene.
While Ben Lucraft was in France turning out for England in the Federation of International Touch (FIT) Junior European Championships, fellow rugby scholar Caleb Reeves was on the other side of the world in New Zealand playing for Great Britain in the Egg Chaser 7s event.
Simon Leader, director of rugby at Impington International College, said: “Ben and Caleb’s achievements really are a testament to their hard work, dedication and talent.
“Representing your country is a huge honour and something they should be very proud of.
“It’s fantastic to see them applying the skills they have developed during their time at the college to their sporting careers and no doubt they will continue to lead extremely successful and exciting careers, whichever pathways they choose to follow.”
Lucraft, who skippered the England Under-18 team in Vichy, now has 22 caps and 31 tries to his name. After a successful stint in the under-18s, he is now aiming to break into the Elite Adult England Open team.
