Impington Village College earn double delight at School Games County Handball finals
Impington Village College earned a double victory at the School Games County Handball finals at the University of Cambridge Sports Centre.
And there was also success for Swavesey Village College.
Fourteen teams of youngsters aged between 12 and 15 did battle across four different categories at an event organised by Living Sport, supported by England Handball.
The matches were keenly contested as each school represented one of the five School Sports Partnership areas – Cambridge, Hunts, Peterborough, South Cambs and Witchford.
Impington Village College won both the under-15 boys’ and girls competitions, while Swavesey Village College took the under-13 boys’ category. King’s School Peterborough won the under-13 girls’ section.
The four teams will now represent the county in the Regional Handball Finals in May.
