May Bumps 2022: Newnham College and Caius retain headships on final day

Newnham and Caius completed faultless weeks to retain the headships of the May Bumps.

In the women's top division, Newnham were unstoppable as they rowed over four nights in a row, and it was a similar story at the top of the men's divisions for Caius.

There was no change to the women's Division One top eight on the final day, but there was good news for Christ's as they earned blades, for getting a bump on every night, to move up to ninth.

Trinity Hall earned blades to go to 12th.

In the men's top division, the first five all rowed over.

Emmanuel moved up to sixth, while there were blades for Queens', who finished in 10th, and for Hughes Hall, who started the week second in Division Two and finished in 14th in Division One.

Across the men's divisions, there were blades for Fitzwilliam, Clare II, Girton II, Lucy Cavendish and Magdalene III.

In the women's divisions, blades were won by Lucy Cavendish, Sidney Sussex, Caius II, Pembroke III, Queens' III, Emmanuel IV and Peterhouse II.
