MR Cricket Hockey becomes title sponsor of the East Region Hockey League
MR Cricket Hockey has become the new title sponsor of the East Region Hockey League.
The company will be backing the competition – which features 550 teams in the 55 division league, one of the largest amateur sports leagues in the country – until at least the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
“We’re very excited to be named title sponsors of the East Region Hockey League,” said Merrick Fuller, MR Cricket Hockey Director.
“Outdoor sports are an essential part of staying healthy both physically and mentally, and it’s a real honour to be able to support the development of hockey in these trying times.”
East Region Hockey Association development director Stuart Burnside said: "The ERHA is delighted to welcome MR Cricket Hockey as the league's title sponsor. Finding new commercial partners willing to invest in the game despite the headwinds from the pandemic reaffirms hockey's wide appeal.
"We anticipate using the sponsorship revenues to invest in developing access to our sport, with a particular focus on state schools."
"We look forward to working with MR Cricket hockey over the next three years to build on the success of the competition and create many more memorable matches for us all to celebrate."
