And it was Orchard Park that emerged victorious.
Bewick Bridge were second, with Newnham third.
Colville A finished fourth, with St Laurences’ A and St Laurences B in equal fifth. And Colville B were seventh.
“This is the first time we have used the Cambridge Gymnastics Academy facilities and their coaches,” said Lisa Woolfe, the Cambridge School Sports Partnership projects officer.
“Both the facilities and the coaches were amazing. It is wonderful to give so many children the experience of using elite gymnastics equipment.
“The competition was one of the best displays of KS1 gymnastics we have ever seen.
“The children were focused and well rehearsed and certainty came with a winning attitude.”
