One of her paintings is titled A Lone Flower in the War and it was inspired by real-life events.

“I remember staring out the window, taking in the scene of utter devastation – the streets scattered with debris, buildings reduced to rubble, and everything in disarray.

“Amid all the chaos, one thing caught my eye: the end of a bathtub lying in the street, its oddness standing out against the destruction.

“I pointed it out to my mother, and soon, everyone on the bus was looking at it too, curious about this strange relic of a life that had once been.

“But just after that moment, something else caught my eye, something that would stay with me forever. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a lone flower, standing tall and proud in the midst of the wreckage.

“It was so unexpected, so out of place among the debris. I couldn’t believe my eyes – a single flower, vibrant and full of life, pushing through the ashes of a broken world.

“It felt like a beacon of hope, a symbol that life, no matter how fragile, always finds a way to persist. That moment became seared into my memory, and I knew I had to capture it.

“The beauty of that lone flower, standing defiantly amidst the destruction, seemed to say that even in the darkest of times, there is always room for renewal, growth, and hope.”
