Cambridge singer-songwriter Wildcard releases new video

Cambridge singer-songwriter Lorenza Wildcard has released the video for her debut single You & I today (Friday, November 5).

The video is laden with significance for the Italian-born musician, who wrote the moving pop ballad after a traumatic break-up. “I wanted the video to be as authentic as possible and in keeping with the raw and honest lyrics of the song,” explains Wildcard.

“In one of the three scenes I wear a wedding dress – and that is the actual wedding dress I wore on my big day. It stands as a strong representation of my story and as a symbolism of my life with and without my ex-partner. Putting it back on took courage as it meant facing the reality of what had happened to my story and where I was at in my life.”
