Cambridgeshire's first wood fair to take place

Cambridgeshire’s first ever wood fair – The Wonder of Wood – will be taking place at Burwash Manor in Barton, from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, September 14, and 10am to 5pm on Sunday, September 15.

Foxcotte & WonderWood of Barton and Artisan Structures – located in Newmarket – will be staging the event, which will showcase some of the region’s finest wood workers, crafters and artisans.

From willow weaving to artisan carpentry, den building to spoon carving, survival skills to tree surgery, tickets for the fair are £10 for adults and anyone under 16 enters for free.
