Chesterton Festival returns for 2025 with bigger fun zone

Chesterton Festival returns on Saturday (21 June) - and everyone is invited.

The festival, which takes place on Pye’s Recreation Ground and is run by volunteers, will be held from 12-4.30pm.

The event will feature stalls, refreshments and arts and crafts.

Organisers are promising a “bigger and better” fun zone, featuring a bouncy castle, gorilla climb and pirate play zone. There will be local performers and a community tug-of-war, with JezO hosting.

Look out for our picture special from the festival in next week’s Cambridge Independent, out from Wednesday, 28 June.
