Comedian John Robins performing in Cambridge this week
The award-winning comedian will be at West Road Concert Hall tomorrow night (Wednesday, November 13).
John Robins, winner of the lastminute.com Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2017 and recently revealed co-host (with friend and partner in crime Elis James) of a brand new show on BBC Radio 5 Live, is touring the UK with Hot Shame.
Join John for his new stand-up show which follows his sell-out smash, The Darkness Of Robins.
As well as receiving widespread acclaim for his radio show with Elis James, John has gained a reputation as a stand-up for finding humour in our bleakest moments.
Expect soul-bearing, self-lacerating, piping-hot shame.
John said: “My last tour, The Darkness Of Robins, was done completely alone, and while this saved countless tens of pounds on Travelodges, it had a quite startling impact on my mental health.
"So, in 2019 I will be bringing along friend and comrade, Robin Allender to provide support.
"He will be sharing his own hot takes on, not only shame, but remorse, regret and nostalgia.
"I will also have a tour manager, so if they close the M6 southbound this time, someone else can tweet Highways England while I relax in the backseat with a couple of cans."
John has appeared on Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Celebrity Mastermind (BBC One) (with Queen as his specialist subject), Live from the BBC (BBC Two), Mock the Week (BBC Two), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled (Dave) and Stand Up Central (Comedy Central).
John will be appearing tomorrow night at West Road Concert Hall, at 7.30pm.
