Walk for Tigers, a nine-mile fundraising walk from Lion Yard to Shepreth Wildlife Park, took place last Sunday (August 4), ahead of Shepreth’s 15th annual Tiger Day.
The day was originally held to mark the birthday of the park’s tiger, Amba, who died last year.
Activities included animal encounters, where visitors got to meet and greet resident animals, and there was a large Amba memorial cake.
Rebecca Willers, director of the park, said: “The event itself has helped to raise more than £60,000, which has gone to tiger anti-poaching work in Sumatra.
“The event is all about fun and games and raising awareness.”
