Dino-fans can pick up a free trail map to guide them through 250 million years of natural history. And children from six schools – Impington Village College, North Cambridge Academy, Sancton Wood, St Mary’s School, The Leys and Trumpington Community College – have created cracking designs for ancient eggs as part of a competition.

The winning school will be awarded a £250 gift card to put towards school equipment and £100 worth of products from John Lewis & Partners. Be sure to also enter the Cam-saurus competition by drawing your very own dino species which could have lived near the River Cam.

Martin Macwhinnie, centre manager, said: “It’s been really well received, particularly today [Monday, April 3] with the kids off school. It’s been absolutely packed and people are loving it.”
