In pictures: Pancake fun and games on Cambourne cricket ground
It was bring-your-own-pan day last Sunday (February 19) as Cambourne-based charity CamCare UK organised a pancake race ahead of Shrove Tuesday – also known as Pancake Day of course – which is observed the day before Ash Wednesday.
Children and their parents brought their own pans and participated in the race by flipping pancakes across the cricket ground in Cambourne.
The pancakes were prepared by local residents, adding to the fun and joy of the event, and were shared among the attendees. The pancake festival was free for the residents of Cambourne.

Also taking place on Sunday was a minibus trip for senior citizens of the village, and coming soon in the Cambourne calendar is the Cambourne Mela, which is to be held on Sunday, April 16, at the Hub.
