Carol’s sculptures are intensely personal works of art, and explore themes of identity and the human condition. Her latest exhibition, which began on September 10, ends this Sunday (October 2).

Hannah Strachan, co-gallery manager at Byard Art, said: “We’ve been showing Carol Peace’s work for 16 years. She’s originally from Cambridgeshire – she studied at Long Road and has very fond memories of her art education there.

“From there she studied at Winchester School of Art and now predominantly works from London and the edge of Wales. This is a solo exhibition of her work, a career spanning 30 years.”

After the exhibition comes to an end, Byard Art will be sharing the work of Lee Madgwick and Beckie Reed, both of whom are based in Ely. That exhibition opens with a meet and greet evening on October 6.
