Liam said: “I think many creative people spent the 2020-21 lockdowns planning their next projects and looking for opportunities, so when we found the DAFTAs film competition we expected the competition to be fierce.

“We approached it as if we were making something we wanted to make and if we happened to be nominated that was a bonus. When we ended up being nominated, we were thrilled, so you can imagine how happy we were to win two categories at the DAFTAs.

“Most of the team went to the press screening at Brighton Fringe Festival, which was a real treat. I spent so long working on the project that most of the jokes didn't land any more, so it was incredible to see it on the big screen and hear the audience laughing almost non-stop throughout.

“We have a handful of projects in the works for 2022, with a lot of the same team member, so I'm excited to see what happens next.”

Liam added: “It [the film] is free to watch on YouTube, but I would encourage people to watch The Power of the Dog first, in order for it to make sense - and because we spoil the ending!”
