Spitting Image creator’s bird art on show at Fen Ditton Gallery




An exhibition of bird-themed art by Spitting Image co-creator Roger Law is on display at Fen Ditton Gallery.

The tapestries, etchings, prints and ceramics by Roger Law are part of an exhibition, running until June 23, to celebrate the importance of birds that highlights and supports the conservation work of BirdLife International.

Roger Law grew up in the Cambridgeshire Fens and studied art at Cambridge School of Art.

The exhibition is an opportunity to view a range of works inspired by encounters with birds, by artists who study their habitats, form and character.

Exhibiting artists include Norman Ackroyd, Lotte Attwood, Geoffrey Cory-Wright, John Fanshawe, Jill Fanshawe Kato, Rebecca Jewell, Roger Law, Hannah McAndrew, Amanda MacPhail, Nik Pollard, Belinda RushJansen, Nina Sage and Lynne Strover.

A percentage of sales will be donated to BirdLife, in support of their Forests of Hope programme.
