Spring exhibition comes to Galeria Moderna at Grand Arcade, Cambridge
Galeria Moderna is hosting its spring art exhibition at its site on the first floor of the Grand Arcade shopping centre in Cambridge.
The event will showcase a collection of award-winning, original artworks from both national and local artists – and every piece is available for purchase.
Featured artists include local artist Debbie Baxter. Debbie’s passion for painting water has taken her far and wide across the planet - from the watery mountain rivers of North Wales to the wide open wilderness of Finland’s finest parklands.
Another local artist featured is Terry Beard, who has lived and worked in the Cambridgeshire Fens for more than 30 years.
Her home and studio are currently situated in the hamlet of Ramsey Heights, near Huntingdon. She said: “My work is a semi-abstract, intuitive response to landscape and environment.
“I am influenced by the colours and textures surrounding my studio as well as places seen on my travels.”
The exhibition runs from this Saturday (1 March) until Sunday, 16 March.
