The Dog House television series is looking for participants

A TV production company called Five Mile Films is making a new series of the popular Channel 4 programme, The Dog House.

The series is made with Wood Green, the animals charity in Cambridgeshire, which specialises in matching rescue dogs with would-be owners.

The Dog House follows this process of getting to know the characters and the stories of the rescue dogs.

The series presents an array of people from different walks of life and captures the beginnings of the new relationships forged between them and their canine friends.

In the first and second series, the makers discovered many reasons why people might be considering bringing a dog into their life – loneliness, extra company for a child, to encourage exercise, to live in the moment more, to name a few.

The producers are currently searching for people who are thinking about rehousing a rescue dog and who would be up for sharing their various reasons for doing so.
