TV star Cliff Parisi to start Chariots of Fire relay race

TV’s Call the Midwife star Cliff Parisi will be part of the iconic Chariots of Fire relay race on September 22.

Parisi, who plays gardener Fred Buckle, will sound the klaxon, as teams of six runners set out on the relay race around University of Cambridge colleges.

Wendy Von Niebel, trustee of Hewitsons Charitable Trust, said: “We are delighted that Cliff will be joining us and using his handyman skills to start the race.”
