Taco Bell plans to open its first Cambridge restaurant
Taco Bell wants to open its first outlet in Cambridge.
The fast food company, famed for its tacos, burritos and quesadillas, intends to open in the unit at 10 Market Street that was formerly home to Kingdom of Sweets, which now has a store in Lion Yard.
A planning application has been submitted to the city council, including for Taco Bell signage. The exterior of the building would be painted black, with illuminated signs above the entrance and on the side of the building.
Inside, up to 38 people could be seated and there would be two self service points as well as a counter for orders to be taken.
The nearest Taco Bells are currently in Milton Keynes, Northampton and Essex.
