Offering tapas-style vegan small plates, as well as larger meals and a range of cocktails, the restaurant hopes to follow in the successful footsteps of the original in Norwich.

Michelle McCabe, the owner, said: “My vision in starting The Tipsy Vegan group was to create a replicable format restaurant which puts customer experience at the core, in a totally vegan setting.”

Heading the Cambridge kitchen and working with Cheryl to create an exciting menu mixing classic dishes with fresh ideas is the newly-appointed head chef, Fatih Guven, who was formerly development chef at London vegan institution Farmacy.

He said: “I’m passionate about creating plant-based dishes that surprise and delight, so I’m particularly excited to be working with Cheryl on expanding The Tipsy Vegan menus over the coming weeks and months.”

The restaurant opened on Wednesday, October 13.
