A taste of Louisiana in Cambridge

American fried chicken restaurant Popeyes opened the doors to its first restaurant in Cambridge this week.
The restaurant at 3-4 Market Hill officially opened its doors at 12pm on Thursday (February 16) with the band Brass Funkeys performing.
Tom Crowley, CEO at Popeyes UK, said: “Cambridge is one of the UK’s most recognisable cities, steeped in history and brimming with culture. We’re looking forward to immersing ourselves in it and sharing the magic of our own Louisiana culture and traditions along the way.”
The first 25 customers in the queue for the first three days (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) received free chicken sandwiches and exclusive merchandise.
