Bourn-based Indian restaurant Lalbagh recognised at Nation’s Curry Awards 2024




Bourn-based Indian restaurant Lalbagh has won the regional title for Curry Restaurant of the Year South at the Nation’s Curry Awards 2024.

The event – the second time it’s been held – took place on Monday (12 February) at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel.

Also at the ceremony, Abdul Hye, co-owner of Pipasha, which is located on Newmarket Road, Cambridge, was ‘highly commended’ in the Manager of the Year Award category.

Miftaur Choudhury, co-owner of Lalbagh, said: “Our journey to Manchester was rewarding as we clinched the prestigious Curry Restaurant of the Year South title at the Nation’s Curry Awards.
